Hartzell, Suzanne Sharon (Marriage - 20 Aug. 1959)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Tickell, Jr., will make their home at 120 Fauna, Houston, Texas, after Aug. 25.

 

Miss Suzanne Sharon Hartzell and Edward Bryant Tickell, Jr., exchanged marriage vows in a double ring ceremony, Aug. 20 at 5 o’clock at St. Pius Catholic church, Pasadena, Texas. The Rev. John McCarthy performed the ceremony.

 

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, Robert W. Hartzell of Abbotsford, wore a street length gown of white imported silk chiffon over taffeta. Her Spanish lace mantilla was adorned with a crown of white sweetheart roses. She wore lace gloves and carried a nosegay of white roses.

 

Attending her was her sister, Miss Mary Lynn Hartzell, of Abbotsford. She wore a street length yellow organdy frock with matching head band of nylon tulle and white gloves. Baby mums in yellow and white were combined in her nosegay bouquet.

 

Larry G. Allen of Houston was best man for his friend.

 

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of a friend, Mrs. Ray Brock, in Pasadena. A double ring wedding cake and flowers in white, yellow and mint green, served as decorations. Mr. and Mrs. Tickell, Jr., left on a honeymoon trip to New Orleans, La.

 

The bride is employed at Shell Chemical Corporation. The groom, who is the son of Edward B. Tickell, and Mrs. Harold Robinson of New Orleans, is in the United States Air Force.

 

Guests from away at the wedding were from Abbotsford and New Orleans.
