Greenwood, Wisconsin Area (February - 1959)

 

The Willing Homemakers meeting is scheduled for Tuesday at the Henry Lamovec home.  Project leaders will be Mrs. Frank Pakiz and Mrs. Ivan Ruzic.

 

The Happy Hustlers Homemakers will meet this Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Paul Hemple, with a 7 p.m. luncheon, followed by the project lesson presented by Mrs. Carl Stabnow and Miss Louise Keiner.

 

Two of the circles of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church will meet this (Thursday) afternoon, the Esther circle at the Thomas Erickson home, and the Naomi circle at the home of Mrs. Leonard Olson.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lester Abel of Kaukauna spent several days recently with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Meyer and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Abel.

 

Mr. and Mrs. James Metzke spent Sunday evening with relatives in Neillsville.

 

Mrs. Donald Berthold and daughter, Gloria, and Mrs. Hugh Severson were visitors in Neillsville Monday afternoon.

 

Mrs. Emil Noah entered the hospital in Marshfield Sunday for surgery.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Adams attended the celebration of the birthday of his brother, Larry, Sunday evening at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Adams in Neillsville.

 

Mr. and Mrs. John Susa, Jr., and children, Luann, Leonard and Linda, spent Sunday at St. Rose Convent, La Crosse, with their daughter, Patricia.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lester Schuette and daughter, Marion, of Unity visited Friday evening at the home of her brother, Hugh Severson and his family.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bogdonovich entertained at their home Saturday afternoon in celebration of the third birthday of their daughter, Mary Lea.  Those present were Mrs. Robert Ramin, John, Ruth Ann, and Paul; Mrs. Lorin Senn and Lorin, Jr., and Peggy; Mrs. Harlan Brux, Judith, Monica, Edward and Allen; Mrs. Frank Bayuk, and Beverly; Mrs. Lee Larson and Jada Lee; Mrs. Eugene Carteron and Gail and Rita jean and Sheila Lydiksen.  Mr. and Mrs. Olaf Johnson were entertained Sunday evening at the Bogdonovich home.

 

Mrs. Anton Lindner returned Thursday after being a patient for two weeks in a hospital in Rochester, Minn.
