Tykac, Grace (20 November 1905 - 27 February 1959)

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon from the Granton Methodist Church for Mrs. Emil (Grace) Tykac, who died Friday following a stroke suffered Monday in downtown Neillsville.  The Rev. Virgil Holmes officiated, and burial was made in Windfall cemetery.

Mrs. Tykac, the former Grace Lawson, was born November 20, 1905, in Sheboygan County, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lawson.  When she was a young girl her parents moved onto a farm near Granton.  On May 6, 1928, she was married to Emil Tykac in Neillsville. They resided here for a number of years prior to moving to Chili, where they had lived for the last 20 years.

She was a member of the Granton Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband; a brother, Earl Lawson of Oregon, Wis.; and a sister, Mrs. Henry (Myrtle) Grassman of Santa Ana, Calif.

Pallbearers were: Lloyd Spry, Roland Quicker, Henry Steinke, Laverne Vanderwyst, Ed Grobe and Elmer Steffen.

Funeral arrangements were made by the Gilbertson Funeral Home.
