Pine Valley (14 May 1959)

 

Visitors Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Pavlic included Mr. and Mrs. Ed Francis, Mrs. Grace Giloy, Mrs. Meta Hanby of Neillsville and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wren of Sydney.

 

The Silver Crest 4-H Club met Thursday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zank.  Linda Opelt and Pat Opelt demonstrated cake making and Mr. Zank, the dairy leader, held a short meeting on care of club calves.  Byrl and Lola Buddenhagen and Karen Hendrickson were added to the club as new members.  Lunch was served by Mrs. Zank.  The next meeting on artificial resuscitation will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Reams.

 

Mrs. Maud Lawler of Chicago spent the Mother’s Day weekend with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ritter.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Leo Pflughoeft and children visited Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Pietenpol in Eau Claire.

 

Miss Margaret Ritter, 9, has been confined to her home most of the past month with illness.  She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ritter.

 

Miss Ann Helwig of Milwaukee spent last weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Helwig.

 

Miss Janice Milton of Marshfield spent last weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Milton.
