A beautiful double ring ceremony uniting Margaret Carlson to Marion Teclaw in the sacrament of holy matrimony and celebration of the nuptial Mass by Father W. B. For her wedding the bride was attired in a gown of French lace over satin through bodice and part of skirt which was of bouffant floor length and styled with flounces of ruffled lace.  She wore a mandarin collar and long fitted sleeves and her nylon net veil was held in place by a pearl beaded headpiece.  Her wedding bouquet was of red roses with streamers of lilies of the valley.   She was given in marriage by her father.

Bridesmaids were Miss LaVonne Schott of Whittier, Calif., a friend of the bride, and Miss Angeline Teclaw of Chicago, a sister of the groom.  They wore dresses of floor length heavenly blue crystalette, cuffed at neck and hips and gow trimmed, with matching gloves and headpieces.  Their rhinestone necklaces and earrings were gifts of the bride and groom.

During the ceremony Mrs. Leon Kaczmarek, Mrs. Leonard Szymanski, Norbert and Richard Teclaw, of Thorp, sisters and brothers of the groom, sang "On This Day Oh Beautiful Mother," "Oh Lord I Am Not Worth," "Panis Angelicus," and "Mother At Thy Feet is Kneeling."

Rossini’s Wedding March was rendered by organist Eileen O’Brien.

The groom and his attendants, Edward Neiman of Chicago, and Eugene Carlson, cousin of the bride, of Pocahontas, were attired in midnight blue tuxedos.  Donald Carlson, cousin of the bride, and Richard Teclaw, brother of the groom, wore black suits as ushers.  Jerry Teclaw, a nephew of the groom, of Thorp, and Ricky Hawk of Plover, Ia., nephew of the bride, served as ring bearers, and little Judy Teclaw of Minneapolis, a niece of the groom, was flower girl and attired in a dress similar to that of the bridesmaids.

The mother of the bride wore a dress of slate blue with charcoal accessories and the groom’s mother wore a navy blue polka dot two piece dress with navy accessories.  Both wore deep pink corsages.
