Miskanis, David (6 AUG 1952 - 17 NOV 2010)

David Miskanis, 58, of Owen, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen. The Rev. Kenneth A. Dix will officiate. A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Withee following the service.

David was born Aug. 6, 1952, in Chicago to Robert and Nioma (Turenne) Miskanis. He graduated from Luther High North School in Chicago. David enjoyed animals of all kinds, fishing, talking to anybody willing to lend an ear, and most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is lovingly survived by his three children, Robert (Beki) Miskanis of Chippewa Falls, Sarah Miskanis of Marshfield and Amanda Miskanis of Stratford; his granddaughter, Sophia; and his mother, Nioma of Owen.

David is preceded in death by his father, Robert; his sister, Debbie Miskanis; and brother, Keith Miskanis.
