Kalsow, Donald Martin (7 February 1932 - 29 November 2010)

 

Donald M. Kalsow, 78, of Neillsville died Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at the Neillsville Care and Rehabilitation Center.

 

Donald Martin Kalsow was born Feb. 7, 1932, in Globe, the son of Martin and Dorothy (Hulteen) Kalsow.  He attended school in Globe and farmed with his father on the family farm.  He was united in marriage July 11, 1964, to Ruth Lohmann in Farrar, MO.  They eventually took ownership of the farm.  Donald enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was a member of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Globe.

 

Donald is survived by his wife, Ruth Kalsow, of Neillsville; a son, Joseph Kalsow of Neillsville; a daughter, Beverly (Duane) Theisen of Spencer; and a grandson, John Kalsow.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Elizabeth.

 

Funeral services for Donald will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Globe.  Pastor John Warmuth will officiate.  Providing music will be Karen Hoppa, organist.  Interment will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
