Sherwood, Wisconsin (16 June 1960)

 

Ronald Freedlund of Fort Lewis, Wash., is on a 30-day furlough and is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Freedlund.

 

Miss Helen Sparks entertained Mr. and Mrs. Glendale Messing of Wisconsin Rapids, and Mr. and Mrs. John Poppe of Iowa.  Mrs. Poppe will be remembered here as Irma Messing.

 

Arville Schafer accompanied a friend from near Neillsville on a fishing trip up north Thursday to Saturday.  They reported a nice catch.

 

Mr. and Mrs. John Fluegel, Mr. and Mrs. Ardo Fluegel and family, and Rev. Keller of Pittsville were dinner guests Sunday of the Chester Freedlunds.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jacobson and children of Rockford spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Jacobson.  Mr. and Mrs. Lester Schwanebeck and family were Sunday guests there also.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Chase of York were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Jacobson.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Cary visited relatives in Plainfield Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Wilde of Cedarburg visited over the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schwanebeck.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lindquist called on the Francis Jacobsons Thursday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Max Schwanebeck, Mr. And Mrs. Glenn Schwanebeck and daughters attended the Pure Milk Meeting in Wausau Sunday.

 

Mrs. Norman Freedlund entertained the Ladies Aid Thursday.

 

Alice Schafer and Sheryle Robbins are helping Rev. and Mrs. Adams with Bible school at Black River Falls this week.
