On Saturday, June 25, at the Salem Lutheran church in Veefkind, Miss Anola M. Tews, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Tews of route two, Spencer, became the bride of Clarence R. Hagedorn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hagedorn of Neillsville. The double-ring 2 p.m. ceremony was performed by the Rev. Adolph Schumann of Neillsville.

Miss Jeanne Tews , sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Mrs. Robert Shaw, sister of the groom, Mrs. L. Eugene Haines and Miss Audrey Zuehlke were bridesmaids. Attending the groom were Robert Hemp, as best man, Robert Shaw, L. E. Haines and Jerome Viegut, cousin of the bride.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, chose a gown of white marquisette over satin, which was styled with a square gathered neckline edged in lace and a fitted bodice. A back peplum edged in lace set off the skirt, which featured inserts of lace on both the sides extending into the long train. Her fingertip veil of illusion was caught with orange blossoms, to a sweetheart bonnet and she carried a cascadel bouquet of red roses and white lilies

The maid of honor and bridesmaids were identically gowned in white, yellow, orchid, and green respectively. Their gowns were net over taffeta, styled with picture neckline and pleated bustles on the sides of the skirt. They wore matching gauntlets and sweetheart bonnets and carried colonial bouquets of carnations and sweet peas.

"O Perfect Love" and "Because"  were sung by Mrs. Wilma Decnchmey of Loyal, accompanied by Mr. John Mueller of Spencer, ? Viegut  Jr. of Athens and ? Hensler ( page 5 continuation cut off)
