Zukowski, Louis #2 (22 APR 1889 - 8 AUG 1957)
Louie Zukowski, 68, former owner of the Zukowski Store and Tavern, three miles east of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Ashland on Thursday, August 8th, 1957, after a short illness. His sudden death came as a shock to his many friends in this community.
Since the sale of his business he had been spending his time at his cottage at Lake Wissota and summer home at Ashland.
Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Church here on Monday morning, Aug. 12th, with interment in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery. A complete obituary will be published next week.
