Weller, Constance (Marriage - 3 September 1960)

Constance Weller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Weller of Abbotsford, and Larry Blunck, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Blunck, Rt. 1 Withee, exchanged nuptial vows in a double ring ceremony September 3, in Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford. The Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiated, and giving the sermon was the Rev. Robert W. Bertram, head of the department of religion at Valparaiso University.

White gladioli adorned the altar and baskets of assorted glads decorated the chancel.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length dress of silk organza over taffeta.  Inserts of Alencon lace formed panels of the front and back of the full bouffant skirt. The modified princess style gown, with fitted bodice and long, fitted sleeves, was high lighted by a V-neckline edged in Alencon lace.  Her elbow length veil was attached to a cap-styled headpiece and she carried a crescent bouquet of Amazon lilies, surrounded by pink garnet roses and French ribbon.

Miss Joan Weller, sister of the bride, wore a two-piece dress of beige, accented with a cummerbund of silk organza over rust taffeta.  She carried a basket of yellow and white pompoms.

Mrs. Arthur Klimeck and Miss Myrna Weller, sisters of the bride, and Miss Louis Blunck, sister of the groom, were her bridesmaids.  They wore two-piece dresses of light pink silk organza over lavender pink taffeta, caught at the waistline by a cummerbund.

Trudy Weller, dressed in light pink organza, was her sister’s flower girl.

Attending as best man was Ronald Amacher; groomsmen were Eugene Hansen and Leon Bruchert; and ushers were Sidney Sorenson and Dennis Krueger.

Mr. and Mrs. Blunck are residing in Galesville.
