Pleasant Ridge (15 September 1960)

William Duge of Fairchild was a Wednesday visitor at the Arnold Drescher home and assisted with threshing.

Mrs. Ted Selves and her guest, Mrs. Rudeen of Denver, Colo., visited Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hughes.  Mrs. Rudeen will return home Sunday.

Miss Betty Bills, who is staying with the Francis Steiner family in Granton and attending high school, spent Sunday afternoon at the Genevieve Hantke home.

Oscar Hantke returned Tuesday to Ironwood, Mich., after spending 10 days with relatives in this area.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Kraeutle newlyweds of Chicago spent their honeymoon with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Walter Larsen. They also visited at the Soren Larsen and Mrs. Ole Larsen homes in Neillsville.

Mrs. Lena Stetzinger and daughter of Colby were Sunday guests of her niece, Mrs. Jesse Marty and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Ziegler and daughter, who are residing in the Russel Vandeberg apartments, are leaving October 1 for Stoughton. Ronnie is being transferred there as a draftsman.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kodet, who have been spending several weeks with their daughter, Mrs. Walter Larsen, and her family, are returning the latter part of the week to Belvidere, S. D.

Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Bills of Madison arrived Monday for a several days’ visit with their daughter, Mrs. Vernon Drescher, and her family.

Clarion Counsell visited Sunday afternoon at the James Hughes home.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Foote and sons spent Saturday evening with her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Ziegler and family, near Willard.

Sunday visitors at the Walter Larsen home were Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Aasen, Juneau; Mrs. Ole Larsen, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Millard Chadwick and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Chadwick and family, Greenwood.

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hinkelmann and family, Loyal, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Saibold of York Center, were Sunday dinner guests at the Leonard Drescher home, and helped lee Drescher celebrate his birthday.
