Haase, Louis (15 JAN 1880 - 26 NOV 1957)

Louis Haase, a resident of the Town of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.), route 1, Stanley, died Tuesday, Nov. 26^th, 1957 at Victory Hospital in Stanley, where he had been a patient for the past three weeks, suffering from a heart attack.

Mr. Haase was born in Hanover, Germany on Jan. 15, 1880.  He came to the United States with his father at the age of 13 years, and settle in Chicago.  They also lived in and around Little Black in Taylor County for a number of years.  In 1912 he was married to Caroline Blazel at Stetsonville.  In 1914 they moved to Stanley, and in 1915 to a farm in the Town of Worden, where they had since resided.

He was a member of St. Ann’s Church in Stanley, and of the Holy Name Society.

Surviving are his wife; four sons, henry of Bremerton, Wash., Lawrence and Herbert, Eau Claire; Raymond at home; two daughters, Lucille Haase, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Fritz (Dorothy) Jappe, Bremerton, Wash., and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday morning at 9 o’clock at St. Ann’s Church, with Father Edward Cramer officiating.  Interment was in St. Ann’s Cemetery.
