Wilhelmi, Emma (6 NOV 1880 - 9 JAN 1961)

 

Mrs. Emma Wilhelmi died Monday afternoon at the age of 80 years.  Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Dorchester, and burial will be made in Memorial Cemetery.  The Rev. F. H. Sprengler will officiate.  The deceased was a member of St. Peter’s Church and it Ladies’ Aid Society.

 

The former Emma Huebscher was born Nov. 6, 1880 in Bern, Switzerland.  As a young girl, she came to America with her parents, who settled on a farm in the town of Holton.

 

On May 5, 1901, she and Henry Wilhelmi were married in the town of Mayville (Clark Co., Wis.).  He died in 1948.

 

Mrs. Wilhelmi lived in Abbotsford a number of years, and with her son, Herbert, in Marshfield, prior to going to the Wolff Nursing Home near Arpin, where her death occurred Monday at 2:15 p.m.

 

She is survived by two sons, Fred of Abbotsford, and Herbert of Marshfield.  There are six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one brother, henry Huebscher, Milwaukee.
