Phillips, Sally  ( 10 DEC 1939-09 JUNE 2003)

 

Sally M. Phillips, 63, Phillips, died on Monday, June 9, 2003, at the House of the Dove, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at noon, on Saturday, June 14, at Community Funeral Home, Spencer. A private family burial was held.

 

Sally M. Olson was born on Dec. 10, 1939, to Clarence and Viola (nee Viest) Olson. She graduated from Columbus High School. She married Roger Phillips. She worked at the Marshfield hospital for a number of years. Her interests included spending time with her grandchildren at her home in Phillips.

 

Survivors include her lifelong partner, Rocky Fischer, Phillips; three sons, Patrick (Dana) Phillips, Marshfield, Medford, David (Renee) Phillips, Marathon, and Timothy (Laura), Medford; one daughter, Barbara (Perry) Demler, St. Germain; one stepson, Shane Fischer, Brandon, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and five sisters, Annette (Russell) Champion, Chippewa Falls, Marion (Gary) Machtan, Marshfield, Lois Mercer, Fish Creek, Catherine (Dan) Sazama, Stratford, and Paula (Gary) Zeller, Marshfield.

 

Preceding her in death were her husband, Roger, in October 1985.

 

Community Funeral Home, Spencer, assisted the family with arrangements.
