Philpott, Ella (17 April 1886 - 19 February 1961)

 

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Myre Funeral Home for Mrs. Ralph (Ella) Philpott, 74, who died at her home Sunday afternoon.

 

The services were conducted by the Rev. Paul Doering of the Methodist Church.  Burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Philpott had been ill since last June, when she was injured in an automobile accident.

 

Born Ella Litka on April 17, 1886, in the Town of Loyal, Mrs. Philpott was married December 18, 1907, at her home. The couple lived for four and one-half years on a farm near Tomahawk, and spent the next 29 years on a farm a mile east of Loyal.

 

In 1942, they moved into Loyal.  Mr. Philpott died April 11, 1949. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

 

Surviving are Mrs. Bertha Pickruhn and Mrs. Earl (Anna) Stowe, both of Loyal; Mrs. Andrew (Amerlia) Lydiksen of Riplinger; and 12 nieces and nephews.
