Dodgeville, Wisconsin

 

Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Need attended a county 4-H Leaders meeting at Greenwood Saturday.  They, with their daughter Joyce, attended the district 4-H meeting held at Loyal Wednesday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Vogel and Miss Jean Vogel of Milwaukee were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Need for dinner and supper.

 

Mrs. Fannie Smith was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. James Roder Sunday.  She, with Mrs. Roder, called on Mr. and Mrs. Archie Smith in the afternoon.

 

Rev. and Mrs. L. J. Chapman, and Mrs. Grace Daniels of Neillsville had Sunday dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Oestreich.  Rev. and Mrs. J.R. Putt and daughters were supper guests there.

 

Mrs. Bob Preller gave a sleigh ride party for the students who ride on her bus.  Most of them are from the northern part of this community.  A lunch was served at her home afterwards.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Litka and family, and Alfred Hinkelman visited with Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Bauer at Marshfield Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Hillis Kadolph and family had supper and visited with Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wegner at Granton.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Loos and family spent Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Kruger.

 

Mr. and Mrs. George Brenner, daughter Marlene and Mrs. Alma Brenner were Saturday evening visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Dobbe.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Homer Byington and family of Wis. Rapids visited with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stumpke Saturday.  The Byingtons have just returned from Glendora, Calif., where they visited Mrs. Stumpke’s and Mrs. Byington’s parents.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Henninger, daughter Luella and Darlene Smith spent Sunday afternoon with friends in Neillsville.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Milton Bombard of Spencer were visitors last week Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Drake.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Schmidt and soms visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Dobbe Wednesday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. L.G. Anderson and Coleen and Wendy went to Richland Center Monday to attend the funeral of his uncle.  Mrs. James Roder stayed with the two little girls while they were gone.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Leon Hoeser visited with Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Pagelow Sunday evening.
