Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon from the Zion American Lutheran Church in the Town of Grant for Paul Lautenbach, 66, of Granton, who died suddenly at his home Friday evening. The Rev. Evan Dieck officiated and burial was made in the church cemetery.

Mr. Lautenbach, a veteran of World War I, was born September 17, 1894, in the Town of Grant, and received his education in the rural schools of that township.  He had been a resident of the Granton community for 35 years.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Edward (Ella) Berndt and Mrs. Hattie Walaska, both of Milwaukee.

Pallbearers were: Marvin Garbisch, Lloyd Spry, Vernon Marg, Douglas Sutter, Floyd Pietenpol and Dennis Steinke.

Among the out of town people here for the services were his two sisters, and a nephew, Vernon Marg and his wife of Detroit, Mich.
