Beaver, Clara (13 July 1889 - 16 July 1961)

 

A requiem high mass was held Wednesday morning at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church for Mrs. William (Clara) Beaver, 72, who died at her home Sunday. Death followed a lingering illness. The Rev. Norbert King officiated and burial was made in the parish cemetery.

 

St. Mary’s Altar society, of which Mrs. Beaver was a member, held a rosary service Tuesday afternoon at the Myre Funeral Home and a general rosary service was held Tuesday evening.

 

Mrs. Beaver, the former Clara Atteln, was born July 13, 1889, in Norwalk. She attended school there and came to Loyal when she was about 11 years old.  She lived here the rest of her life except for two years, which she spent in Janesville.

 

She was married to John Schwieso, May 13, 1909, in Loyal.  He died in April, 1921. She married William Beaver of Loyal April 21, 1925.

 

She is survived by her husband, three daughters and two sons.  The daughters are: Evelyn Schwieso of Loyal, Mrs. Veronica (Schwieso) Giesel of Chicago, and Mrs. Donald (Jeanette Beaver) Cole.  The sons are: Theodore and Donald, both of Loyal. Also surviving are 30 grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Eleanor Bade of Minneapolis.

 

Pallbearers were: James Bertz, Paul Bauer, Percy Voight, Joe Hubing, Linus Hoeser and Oscar Fricke.
