Wolfe, Ardith  (01 July 1953)

Miss Ardith Marie Wolfe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Wolfe, Loyal, and Edward  John Domine Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Domine Sr., Loyal, were united in marriage during a service Wednesday, July 1 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Norbert King was the officiating clergyman.

For her wedding the bride chose a dress of nylon tulle with a bouffant skirt. Her moulded Chantilly lace bodice flared to a scalloped overskirt, sweeping down the regal train. The neckline was misted with nylon tulle banded with chantilly lace. Her flowers were a basket of spray of feathered French mums centered by an orchid. Her fingertip veil of sheer imported illusion net, edged with lace, was caught to a tiara of seed pearls and rhinestones.

Mrs. Ben Schwellenbach, Neillsville, sister of the groom, was matron of honor. She was attired in a gown of orchid floor length nylon net and lace over taffeta, styled with a strapless fitted bodice matching lace jacket, and a full net skirt, lace bordered. She wore a matching net bonnet and carried a basket spray of white and orchid tinted carnations.

The bridesmaids, Mrs. Eugene Lee, Skokie, Ill., a cousin of the bride, and Mrs. James Helm, Milwaukee, wore yellow formals, identical in style to that of the matron of honor. Both carried basket sprays of white and yellow tinted carnations.

The flower girl, Antonett Shober, a niece of the groom, wore white nylon net with puffed sleeves. The softly gathered bodice was trimmed with ruching and flared into rows of frilly ruffles on a gathered skirt. She wore a white net bonnet tied with satin ribbon. Her flowers were a basket spray of French mums surrounding a baby orchid.

Ben Schwellenbach, Neillsville, served as best man, and Verlyn Wolfe, Milwaukee, brother of the bride, and James Helm, Milwaukee, were groomsmen.

Ushers were Donald Domine, nephew of the groom, and Verlyn Wolfe, both of Milwaukee.

Ronald Wolfe, Loyal. brother of the bride, was ring bearer.

The groom is a graduate of the Loyal High School class of 1949. He has recently received his discharged from the U. S. Army where he served for two years. The bride graduated from Loyal High School in 1950.

Guests were in attendance from the Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Milwuakee, Spencer, Alma, Spring Valley, Marshfield, and Loyal.
