Demuth, Constance Ann (Marriage - 31 August 1961)

Miss Constance Ann Demuth, daughter of Mrs. William Demuth of Loyal, and Sp/4 Richard Bruce Hansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Hansen of Granton, were married at Pioneer Chapel, Hanau, Germany on August 31.  A 7:30 candlelight nuptial mass was performed by Father Jennings.

The bride wore a dress of silk organza featuring a Sabrina neckline with appliqué of lace and sequins. The dress was styled with wrist length sleeves, fitted waist, and floor length bouffant skirt.  Her veil of imported silk illusion was secured to a crown of tiny seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of red roses.

The maid of honor was Miss Barbara Duncan of Hanau, who wore a dress of white lace over blue taffeta and carried carnations. Miss Duncan’s little brother and sister acted as ringbearer and flower girl.

Serving as bestman was Sp/4 Wayne Demuth, brother of the bride, who is stationed in Ludwigsburg, Germany.

An evening reception was held at the home of friends.

The bride was graduated from Loyal High School in 1961. She has been employed in Milwaukee.  The groom, also a graduate of Loyal High School, has been stationed in Germany 14 months.

The young couple is on a 30 day honeymoon leave and plan to tour Europe. Among the places they plan to visit are Venice, Rome, Paris, Capri and Pisa.  Upon their return, they plan to live in Dornigheim, Germany.
