A chapel length wedding gown of exquisite chantilly-type lace with tulle pleated panel, keyhole neckline and painted tudor type sleeves accented with tiny buttons was worn by Miss Jeanne Tews for her marriage to Lyle M. Hensler.

 

The double ring wedding ceremony was solemnized in Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal at 1:30 Friday afternoon with the rev. E. E. Aalto the officiating clergyman. The altar of the church was decorated with mums.

 

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Tews, Spencer, and Mr. and Mrs. Jake Henseler, Jr., Loyal. The bride was given in marriage by her father.

 

A reception and 4:30 supper were given in the church parlors with 100 guests attending.

 

The bride’s three-tiered finger-tip veil of imported tulle was fastened to a cloche of tulle trimmed with seed pearls and sequins. She wore a choker style double strand pearl necklace and carried three white mums accented with a spray of surrounding white mums.

 

The bride chose for her maid of honor, her friend, Mrs. Robert Reichert, of Madison. Her bridesmaids were her sister, Mrs. Clarence Hagedorn. Of Fond du Lac, and the groom’s sister, Mrs. Orville Luchterhand of Granton.

 

William Lulloff of Loyal, served as his friend’s best man. The groomsmen were Clarence Hagedorn, Fond du Lac, and Orville Luchterhand, Granton.

 

Gerald Luchterhand, Spencer, and Robert Reichert, Madison, ushered.

 

The Bride’s aids were all dressed in chapel length gowns of nymph green, with fitted bodices and nylon tulle trim. There head pieces matched their gowns’ trim and their flowers were circular bouquets of rust and yellow chrysanthemums.

 

The songs, "O Perfect Love" and "The Lord’s Prayer" were sung by Vern Dahlby with Miss Dorothy Capelle accompanying.

 

The bride is a graduate of the Loyal High School and St. Joseph’s School of Nursing, Marshfield, and has been employed in St. Joseph’s Hospital.

 

The groom is a graduate of the Loyal High School and is in service in the U. S. Air Force. He was recently returned from 16 months in Japan and Korea.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Henseler have gone to Riverside, Calif., to reside, and where the groom will return to base.

 

Guests were in attendance from Athens, Spencer, Colby, Granton, Stratford, Marshfield, Loyal, Eau Claire, Milwaukee, Sheboygan Falls and Cambridge, Minn.
