Otrin, Johanna #2 (24 JUN 1882 - 26 AUG 1958)

 

A Requiem Mass was sung for Mrs. Johanna Otrin Friday morning at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen.  Father H.L. Crubel was the officiating clergyman with burial made at Riverside Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers were Arne Holopainen, Charles Kovatch, Harvey Schwarze, Dave Churkey, Frank Pabich, Jr., and John Prepeluh.

 

Johann Otrin, wife of Frank Otrin, passed away Tuesday August 26th, 1958 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, at Marshfield where she had been a patient for four and one-half months.  She had been in failing health for the past two and one-half years.

 

Johanna Otrin , nee Johann Tereck, was born June 24, 1882, at Zira, Austria.  She had attained the age of 76 years.  When a young lady of 28 years of age she came to the United States in September 1910.  On the 31st of December of that same year she was united in marriage to Frank Otrin.  The couple lived on a farm at Farmington, Ill. until June 1925, when they moved to their present home south of the city.

 

She is survived by her husband, three sons, Frank and Albert of Chicago and Fred of Owen; three daughters, Julia of Eau Claire, Mrs. Walter (Anne) Olszewski, Markham, Ill., and Mrs. Fred (Elizabeth) Lulloff, Jr. of Owen, and nine grandchildren.

E. Grosvold, Mr. and Mrs. Fred J. Grosvold and Miss Carolyn Keenan, Eau Claire; and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Olszewski and family, Markham, Ill.
