Mendez, Angela (Marriage - 27 November 1961)

Miss Angela Mendez, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Mendez of Morelia, Mexico, became the bride of James Buker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theo. Buker, Rt. 1, Loyal, November 27, in Morelia, Mexico.  The double ring ceremony was performed in San Jose Catholic Church by the Rev. Fr. Pedro Aranda.

The church altar was adorned with baskets of flowers. The bride wore a white wedding gown and carried a bouquet of red roses and white carnations.  The Groom wore a dark suit.

Attendants were friends of the young couple.  Music was provided by the church choir.

A reception was held in the church for relatives and fiends. They went to California soon after the wedding, where they will make their home.
