Arndt, Alvina (10 MAY 1882 - 17 FEB 1959)

Funeral services are scheduled for tomorrow afternoon, Friday, Feb. 20, from the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home for Mrs. Alvina Arndt who succumbed to pneumonia Tuesday of this week.  She was a patient at the Clark County Hospital at the time of her death.  Rev. Johnson of Eau Claire will officiate at the services tomorrow with burial being planned at Riverside Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Wallace Wood, Henry Wojner, Eugene Santala, Frank Brossow, Ervin Robertson and Earl Rusch.  In charge of the floral offerings will be Janet Wood, Norma Rusch, Alma Miller, Beth Wojner and Mrs. E. Santala.

Mrs. Arndt had attained the age of 76 years and 9 months, being born May 10, 1882 in Manitowoc Co., Wis.  In 1910 she was united in marriage to William Arndt in a ceremony performed at St. Paul, Minn.  From the time of her marriage they resided on a farm northwest of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.).  Her husband preceded her in death, having passed away in 1940.

Surviving are a son, Alfred of Owen; five step-sons, Albert, Darien, Wis., George, Louis and Wesley of Janesville, and Frank of Withee; one daughter, Ruby of Withee, and a step-daughter, Mrs. Ruth Evans of Barrington, Ill.; 26 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
