Schultz, Vera (10 November 1905 - 4 March 1962)

 

Mrs. Guy (Vera) Schultz, 56, Rt. 2 Neillsville, died Sunday in University Hospital, Madison, where she had been a patient for several weeks.

 

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Georgas Funeral Home. The Rev. Frank B. Harcey of the United Church of Christ officiated. Burial was made in the Dells Dam cemetery.

 

Mrs. Schultz, the former Vera Kapfer, was born November 10, 1905, in North Dakota.  Her parents moved to Wausau before locating on a farm in Clark County. She attended the Grand View (Pine Valley) and Neillsville Schools, and on December 15, 1923 she was married to Guy Schultz in Neillsville.  Since that time they resided at Dells Dam.

 

She was a member of the Homemaker club in her area.

 

Mrs. Schultz is survived by her husband and a son, Duane D. Schultz of Neillsville; her mother, Mrs. Nellie Kapfer, Rt. 2, Loyal; a sister, Mrs. Ed (Mildred) Timmler, Loyal; and three brothers, Elmer Kapfer, Rt. 2, Granton, Albert Kapfer, West Bend, and Lee Kapfer, Rockford, Ill.

Funeral services were held March 7, from the Georgas Funeral Home for Mrs. Guy Schultz, 56, who died March 4, in a Madison hospital. The Rev. Frank B. Harcey of the United Church of Christ officiated.  Burial was made in the Dells Dam Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers were: Douglas Hantke, Howard Latsch, Loren Bertelsen, Lee Schaub, Leon and William Kapfer.   Mrs. Ruth Van Gorden sang, "Under His Wing" and "It is Well with My Soul," accompanied by Mrs. Jack Grether.

 

Coming from away to attend the service were: Mr. and Mrs. Ed Timmler and Edith, Dave Bertz and E. C. Gorsegner, Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kapfer, Mary Ellen Kapfer, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Latsch and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Schaub, and Mr. and Mrs. Allen Kleinhaus, all of West Bend; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Arndt, Thorp; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kapfer, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Kapfer, Mr. and Mrs. William Kapfer and Robert Kapfer, all of Rockford, Ill.; Leon Kapfer, Janesville; Loren Bertelsen , Madison; Mrs. Arne Bakken, Black River Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence McKivitt, Sparta; Mrs. Richard Mead, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Walters, Jr., and Mary Garde, Beloit; Ludwig Perushek, Frank Perushek, Pauline Volk, H. R. Baird, Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kapfer, Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Douglas D.
