Seefeldt, Violet  (13 MAR 1919-21 APR 2011)

 

Violet A. Seefeldt, 92, formerly of Spencer, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 21, 2011, at the Clare Bridge Senior Living Center, Kenosha. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, April 27, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer. Rev. David DePaoli officiated. Burial took place in the North Spencer Cemetery.

 

Violet A. Fischer was born on March 13, 1919, in Wisconsin, the daughter of Walter and Bertha (nee Koch) Fischer. She attended Spencer area schools. On June 28, 1939, she married Arnold Seefeldt at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Spencer. The couple owned and operated a dairy farm in the Spencer area until retiring. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer. She was also a member of the Homemakers Club for more than 60 years. She enjoyed the outdoors and especially liked gardening.

 

She is lovingly survived by four children, Duane Seefeldt, McHenry, Ill., Ronald (Karen) Seefeldt, Spencer, Darla (Raymond) Emond, Twin Lakes, and Roxanne Seefeldt, Lindenhurst, Ill.; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jane Bennett and Geraldine Vick; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She will truly be missed.

 

Preceding her in death were her parents, Walter and Bertha; her husband, Arnold; three brothers, Donald "Bud" Fischer, Raymond "Ray" Fischer and Richard "Dick" Fischer; as well as three sisters, Florence, Darlene, and Ruth.
