Frane, Theodore J. #3 (27 FEB 1906 - 19 JAN 1960)

 

Theodore Frane, 53, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), was stricken with a heart attack while working in the woods cutting timber Tuesday forenoon and died shortly after arriving at Victory Memorial Hospital at Stanley.

 

Funeral services are being supervised by the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home who announced that a Rosary service will be sung Friday at 8 p.m. and a Requiem Mass will be said Saturday morning at nine o’clock from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen.  Rt. Rev. H.L. Crubel will officiated with burial being made in the family lot at Colby.

 

Theodore Joseph Frane was born Feb. 27, 1906 at Colby, Wis.

 

He and the former Florence Knies were united in marriage Oct. 20, 1931 in a ceremony performed at Colby.  For years he has farmed near Curtiss on Highway 29, in addition to being engaged in the carpentry business.

 

His sudden death is being mourned by his wife, nine children, Charles, Owen; Glenn, Howard, Ronald, Patricia, Carol Jean, and Marlene, Curtiss; Mrs. Marion Krunz, Park Falls, and Ruth Ann Frane of Ripon; his father, Victory of Wittenberg; five brothers, Art, Alvin and Donald of Colby; Edward of Roayl Oak, Mich., and Vincent of Owen, and three sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Kniess, Cyrene, Mo.; Mrs. Katherine Roohr, Medford, Ore., and Mrs. Lucille Allar, Colby.

 

He was preceded in death by his mother, a daughter, Virginia, and a son, Joseph.
