Moore (Family Reunion - 5 SEP 1941)

Last Sunday was a gala day for the members of the Moore family at the farm home in Garden Valley, when all were home for a family reunion.  All the sons and daughters were there, and fifteen of eighteen grandchildren.  Present were Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert D. Marshall and their two daughters from Pasadena, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Moore and sons Robert and Gordon, and Walter, of Madison; Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Moore and two daughters of Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Moore and family; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Zimmerman and family; and Mr. and Mrs. George Moore, Miss Laura and their mother who live on the home farm.  The three absent grandchildren were of Ralph Moore’s family and were detained in Madison.  This was the first visit of Mr. Marshall, whose wife was Miss Ruth, to the family circle.  He and his family expect to leave for their home in California before long.  It was a most happy occasion to have all the family at home.
