In a 2 p.m. ceremony at the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Curtiss, Saturday, April 7, Verla McCarron married Harold Stange. A reception and buffet luncheon followed at the Curtiss Hall, also a reception at the Neil Oestreich home.

 

The bride wore a blue suit with blue and white accessories and a corsage of assorted white flowers. She is the daughter of Mrs. Milla Lott of Loyal.

 

Attending the bride was her twin sister, Mrs. Robert Mattson, who wore a grey suit with blue accessories and a corsage of assorted white flowers.

 

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Oestreich, chose his brother, Lyle Stange, as best man.

 

The Rev. Max Wilhelm officiated at the nuptial services and Mrs. Arnold Jensen sang, "Oh Perfect Love" and "Oh Promise Me"  with Nora Jensen as organist.

 

The bride is a graduate of Owen High School and is employed by the American Boxboard Co., Corp., at Colby. The groom attended the South Division High School in Milwaukee and is employed by the Reddis Plywood Corp., of Marshfield. When the new Mr. and Mrs. Stange return from a honeymoon trip in southern Wisconsin, they will live in an apartment on Main Street of Loyal.

 

Mrs. Lott attended her daughter’s wedding in an orchid dress with black accessories, and the groom’s mother wore a beige dress and duster with avocado accessories.

 

Guests from Curtiss, Owen, Loyal, Milwaukee, Unity, Eau Claire, Colby, and Indiana attended the wedding.
