Henry Bequette was taken to the Marshfield Hospital Saturday, by his son Archie and Dr. Schwarz.

 

A.L. Sparkes attended a meeting of directors of the P.C.A. at Chippewa Falls.

 

S.G. Patey of Neillsville was a caller at this office Wednesday.  Mr. Patey has been detained at home the greater part of the winter, but is again able to make the circuit of his patrons.

 

W.A. McMillan was a visitor at the home of his sister, Mrs. Herman Arndt at Black River Falls the fore part of the week.

 

Mrs. John Bell has returned from the Krohn Clinic where she was receiving treatments.  She is much improved by the treatment.

 

A croup of friends gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Duerkop Tuesday evening to celebrate the birthdays of Mrs. Chas. Winscher and Frank Zimmerman.  A pleasant evening is reported.

 

Mrs. Harriet Williams of Merrillan is a guest of Miss Edith Simons.

 

Angus Flood, the new ice man, is harvesting a good quality of ice.

 

Miss Marjorie Russell was a visitor with friends in town Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. C.B. Fristad were down from Eau Claire last Sunday, and Mrs. Fristad’s mother, Mrs. Brandstedter, who has not been feeling very well of late, returned with them for a short stay.
