Mrs. R.M. Fletcher and Mrs. H.B. Farnsworth were B.R. Falls visitors last Thursday afternoon.

 

The John Greub Sr. farm has a new renter.

 

Herman Rieder and wife drive up from Rockford, Ill., where they are employed in war work, and spent the weekend with relatives.  They were accompanied by a nephew and wife.

 

James Barkley, who is a member of Co. B. of the 87th Engineers, of Camp Young, Indio, Calif., is home on a visit to his mother and other relatives.

 

Donald Olson was brought home from the Krohn Hospital the latter part of the week, and is about recovered from the operation for appendicitis.

 

Ulysses Stuve came home from St. Louis Tuesday, where he has been employed on the motor vessel President Hoover on the Mississippi River during the winter months.  He expects to return to his work on the Great Lakes as first class seaman as soon as he has a short vacation.

 

Geo. Mueller and wife, Mrs. Elmer Duerkop and Mrs. Ernest Duerkop drive to Eau Claire one day recently and were visitors at the Ben Blom home.

 

Dr. Schwarz returned Monday evening from a short visit at the home of their son Robert and family at Berrien Springs, Mich.  He drove home a new car for use in his practice.

 

C.J. Lundee and family moved the last of the week to the farm near Taylor.  It is expected the house vacated by Mr. Lundee will be occupied by H.M. Boullion and wife.
