Fox, Linda (10 May 1947 - 23 April 1962)

 

Funeral services for Linda Fox, 14, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Fox of Willard, were held last Thursday morning from Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Greenwood.  The Rev. Arvid Myhrwold officiated.

 

Pallbearers were Chester Turnquist, Michael Johnson, William Turnquist, Dallas Wuethrich, Bruce Engelbretson and Tom Barr.  Honorary pallbearers were David Oswald and Douglas Felix.

 

Mrs. Arvid Myhrwold, Mrs. Richard Thompson and Mrs. Leslie Johnson sang, "Trust and Obey" accompanied by Mrs. Don Warner.  The congregation sang, "A Mighty Fortress is Our God" and "Lead on O King Eternal"

 

People from away who attended were: Mrs. George Mower and Mrs. George Dingman of Chippewa Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Schroeder of Tigerton; and friends from Marshfield, Willard, Neillsville, Globe, Stratford, Owen and Withee.

 

The body was taken to Britt, Ia., where services were held Friday afternoon from the Britt Methodist Church. The Rev. Arvid Myhrwold of Greenwood and the Rev. Robert Jones of Britt, Ia., officiated.

 

Pallbearers were Timmy Brooks, Loren Frank, Raymond Frank, Ricky Kraus, Chris Nygaard and Dennis Krull.  Flower bearers were Jackie Fox and Janet Krull. Soloist was Russell Schubert, with Miss Marjorie Benzler, accompanist.  Burial was made in the Brit Evergreen Cemetery.

 

Those from here who attended the funeral in Iowa were her parents, her sister and brothers: Anna Louise, Randall, Kevin, Michael and Scott; the Rev. and Mrs. Arvid Myhrwold and family; and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thompson.
