Baker, Clara (? - 26 May 1962)

 

Services for Mrs. Clara Baker, 79, the former Clara Scholtz of Seattle, Wash., and formerly of the Town of Sherwood, were held Tuesday in Seattle.  Mrs. Baker died there May 26.

 

She was born and educated in the Sherwood area and as a young girl worked in Tomah.  She was married there to Albert Baker and 51 years ago moved to Washington State.

 

Mrs. Baker was the daughter of Albert and Bertha (Zipfel) Scholtz.

 

Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. William Tullis of Granton, Mrs. Albert Gall of Arpin, Mrs. Floyd DeFoe of Waukesha and Mrs. John Voegeli of Cambria; and three brothers, Lewis and Frank Scholtz of Neillsville and Ralph Scholtz of Granton.
