Sherwood (7 June 1962)

 

George Florence, Sr. has been in University Hospital, Madison, since last week.

 

Many relatives and friends attended the funeral of Dewey Ziemendorf Tuesday.

 

Mrs. Earl Jacobson and Kim of Rockford are spending two weeks at Joe Jacobson’s Earl is at Camp McCoy.  He spent the weekend here with his wife.

 

Merle Pederson and children spent Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Pederson.  Mrs. Merle Pederson and son went Saturday to Tennessee to visit.  She accompanied Mrs. Wilbur Dickson who drove on to Florida to visit her father.

 

Mrs. Lyle Cary is a patient in the Memorial Hospital at Neillsville.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Scholtz accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Will Tullis to Iowa to attend the graduation of Gene Scholtz.  Mrs. Sophia Sparks of Wisconsin Rapids stayed at the Scholtz home during their absence.  Miss Helen Sparks spent Saturday and Sunday night with Sophia Sparks.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Cattanach and family of Lindsey were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Todd.

 

Misses Becky Todd and Beverly Jacobson of Madison spent Satruday and Sunday in their respective homes here.

 

Mrs. Sophia Sparks and Fritz Gall were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Les Todd.

 

Miss Judy Mallory is taking care of the Bob Friedrichsen children while their parents are on a vacation.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Schwanebeck went north fishing.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Francis Jacobson visited Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Gehre in Nekoosa Tuesday evening.  It was Mrs. Gehre’s birthday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. George Fluegel of Rockford spent a weekend with relatives here recently.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Anderson of Red Wing, Minn., visited Miss Helen Sparks near Memorial Day.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Schafer and Arvil Schafer of Rockford spent the weekend at the Schafer and Spurgen homes here.
