Melissa Mantik, Abbotsford, and Patrick Carroll, Sussex, have announced their engagement.
Parents of the future bride are Cindy Bartnik, New London, and Rocky Mantik, Medford.
Parents of the future groom are Tom and Mary Kay Caroll, Sussex.
Melissa is a 2009 graduate of UW-Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and is currently attending UW-Milwaukee pursuing a masters of science degree in nursing. She is currently employed in the spinal cord injury unit at Froedtert Medical Center, Milwaukee.
Patrick is a 2007 graduate of UW-Eau Claire with a degree in accounting. He is currently employed with Wipfli CPA in Milwaukee.
The couple is planning a June 25, 2011, wedding in Wausau.
