Sill, Norman (Novmeber 30, 1930 - July 10, 2011)

 

Norman Sill, 80, Racine, died Sunday, July 10, 2011.

 

He was born in Colby on November 30, 1930, the son of the late Frank and Emma (Prange) Sill. 

 

He served in the Korean War and belonged to the Veterans of Foreign Wars - VFW Post 2227. 

 

On September 2, 1967, he married Audrey F. Ritchey at Holy Communion Lutheran Church. She preceded him in death on September 11, 2003. 

 

Norman worked at Styberg Engineering for 25 years. He was a member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church, Kiwanis Club, Musicians Union and honorary commodore of Harbor Lite Yacht Club. He enjoyed bowling. 

 

He is survived by his sons, Robert (Joan) David, Racine, and Gary (Judith) Davis, Sheboygan; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

 

In addition to this parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Otto and Paul; and a sister.

 

Funeral serviced with full military honors were held at West Lawn Memorial Park on July 15. There was a private interment.
