Krapf, Theresa (22 NOV 1956)

Nuptial vows were exchanged Thanksgiving Day, November 22, by Miss Theresa Krapf and Edward Zorman at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. Rev. August Svete, O.F.M., performed the 10:30 a.m. rite. The reception followed at the West Side Hall, Willard, where later a supper was held.

The bride’s floor length gown of heavy satin was fashioned with an overskirt of net, trimmed with a lace peplum. Her lace bodice had tiny pearl buttons down the front, and long sleeves pointed at the wrists.

Her finger-tip veil was secured to a seed-pearl cap, and white mums and stephanotis centered with an orchid formed her bouquet.

Miss Adeline Lesar of Marshfield was maid of honor for her cousin. Bridesmaids were Miss Barbara Koschak, Milwaukee, another cousin, and Miss Louise Hagen, Greenwood. Net over taffeta, worn with velveteen jackets and matching headpieces, fashioned the similarly styled gowns of her attendants. Miss Lesar wore gold, Miss Koschak, American Beauty, and Miss Hagen, blue, and each carried white mums combined with carnations that matched her dress in color.

Mr. Zorman chose Charles Krapf, Jr., Greenwood, the brother of his bride, for best man and for his groomsmen he chose his brother, Rudolph of Willard and Stanley Pekol, also of Willard.

Donald Lesar, Milwaukee, cousin of the bride, and Albert Zorman, Willard, brother of the groom, performed the ushering duties.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father for the double ring ceremony. Approaching the altar of the Blessed Virgin, she placed a bouquet of white and blue carnations, while the groom knelt at the altar of St. Joseph. During this part of the ceremony the choir sang, "Mother at Thy Feet is Kneeling." Mrs. Ann Lamovec was organist for the nuptial service. Large baskets of white and red mums decorated the altar.

The wedding cake was cut by Miss Frances Koschak, Greenwood, Cousin of the bride. Altar boys were Bernard Lesar and Allan Lamovec, cousins of the bride, and Ernie Pekal and Peter Meke.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Zorman are both graduates of the Greenwood High School, and Mrs. Zorman, who is second grade teacher at the Loyal Public School, is also a graduate of River Falls State College. Mr. Zorman is employed by the John Wuethrich Creamery Co. of Greenwood. They will live in Loyal, where they have purchased a home.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Krapf, Sr. of Greenwood.

Mrs. Krapf attended her daughter’s wedding wearing a navy blue crepe dress.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Zorman of Willard. She chose a grey knit suit with white angora trim for the occasion. Both mothers wore corsages of white and pink roses.

A wedding dance was given in the evening at the West Side Hall in Willard.
