Devine, Roberta "Bobbie" (Strathman) (June 17, 1935 - August 26, 2011)

Roberta "Bobbie" Devine, age 75, of Withee, passed away Friday, August 26, 2011, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

Bobbie was born June 17, 1935, to Robert and Gwen (Bertz) Strathman in Colby.

She graduated from Colby High School. Bobbie and Robert "Bob" Devine were united in marriage August 16, 1955, in La Crosse. 

They raise their family and operated a farm in the town of Longwood until 1989 when they sold the farm and moved into Withee. 

Bobbie also worked at the Medford Nursing Home and Clark County Health Care Center as a nurse’s aide. 

She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and a member of the Holy Rosary Ladies Circle. Bobbie enjoyed gardening, flowers, baking, going to casinos, traveling and playing cards.

Bobbie is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bob Devine, Withee; children, Lynn (Ken) Smith, Maple Grove, MN, Pam Devine, Tomahawk, Connie (Bob) Vesley, Wausau, Keri (Michael) Devine, Amery, John Devine, Altoona, and Jay Devine, Dorchester; 15 grand-children; 10 great-grandchildren; her brother, Robin Strathman, Ontario, CA and her sister, Bonnie Strathman, Houston, TX.

She is preceded n death by her parents and a grandson. 

Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Owen. Father Daniel Hackel presided.
