Audrey E. Roedl, age 87 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at home on Friday, January 19, 2018.

Audrey was born on September 11, 1930 in Beaver Dam to Alvin and Adele (Kapelle) Reinke. On April 23, 1952 she was united in marriage to Leonard E. Roedl in Beaver Dam. Audrey worked as an OB RN at Lutheran Hospital and later Beaver Dam Community Hospital for over 23 years. Audrey was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. She enjoyed genealogy, playing cards with friends, knitting, collecting coins and stamps, and going on day trips with her friends and family.

Audrey is survived by her husband Lenny of Beaver Dam; her children, Julie Tellier, Lori (Daniel) Gonzalez, Kathi (Michael) Scholz, Linda (Kenneth) McDougal and Paul (Kristine) Roedl, all of Beaver Dam; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; her brother, Jerry (Marilea) Reinke of Beaver Dam; sisters-in-law, Carmen Bemis of Beaver Dam and Gail Reinke of Indianapolis; her beloved grand-puppies, Otis, Taffy, Miley, Mamie and Gracie; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister in infancy, Janet; son-in-law, Preston Tellier; brother, Bill Reinke; father and mother-in-law, Edward and Dolores Roedl; brother-in-law, Lloyd "Dagwood" Bemis; nephew, Joey Bemis, along with other relatives.

In honoring Audrey's wishes, private family services will be held.

The Roedl family would like to express a sincere thank you to Dr. Hei and the oncology staff at Beaver Dam Community Hospital, along with the nurses at Hillside Hospice, for the loving care shown to Audrey.

Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services in Beaver Dam is honored to be serving the family.
