Humbird (21 February 1963)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Laffe were afternoon and supper guests Sunday at the Ben Clouse home in Loyal.

 

Mrs. Freda Zerbel accompanied Mr. and Mrs. John Greub to Black River Falls Friday, where they called on Mrs. Albert Van Kirk in the hospital, and at the Rinehart Zimmerman home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kuik and Miss Shirley Radtke of Wausau were Sunday afternoon and evening visitors in the Melvin Markham home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kuuth and Mr. and Mrs. Royce Kuberra called Friday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Max Schenk.

 

Co.. Neil Hein was a brief caller in the Will Hein home Saturdays morning while on a business trip to St. Paul.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Noyes and Roxanne were Sunday afternoon and supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Chet Bailey.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hefty and children were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Hefty in Augusta.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Newell and family were in Black River Falls Sunday to visit their daughter, Sharon, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Fitzpatrick and help Sharon celebrate her birthday.  They also called on Dr. and Mrs. Carl Plauz.

 

Mrs. Laura Dignin was a brief caller in the Cullen Dignin home Saturday while on the way to Racine with her cousin, Mrs. Lucille Jacobs.  Mrs. Dignin will visit in Racine, Union Grove, and then be with her daughter, Mrs. Dale Austin in Beloit, until the last part of March.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Harris visited Wednesday afternoon at the Oswald Micheal home.

 

Mrs. Ervin Giese of Alma Center called Friday on her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Micheal.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Laffe spent Monday evening with their son, Art Laffe, and his family.

 

Kenneth Hart came home Saturday from his navy post at Meridian, Miss.  He will report for duty again on the west coast about March 14. He was joined at his parents’ home by his wife, Gloria and their two small children, where they will be this week.  They will also visit her people.

 

Mr. and Mrs. John Greub spent Sunday evening with the Louie Laffe’s.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Micheal spent Sunday afternoon in the Ervin Giese home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Segerstrom and baby of Medford came Saturday to stay until Tuesday at the Harold Hart home.
