Wegner, Vivianne L. (24 JUN 1958)

The Rev. Francis Piekarski officiated at the exchange of vows between Vivianne Lorrain Wegner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Wegner, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and Richard M. Malecki, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Malecki, Thorp.  The ceremony was performed Tuesday in St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, Thorp.

The bride’s chapel length gown was fashioned of Chantilly lace and nylon tulle over slipper satin.  Her silk illusion veil was held by a crown of pearls and sequins and her bouquet was an arrangement of orchids, roses, and gladioli.

Miss Joanne Przybylski, thorp, donned a bell-skirted gown of lace and net over taffeta for her appearance as maid of honor.  A matching bolero and braided tiara completed her attire.  Similar dresses were worn by the bridesmaids, Louann Kaminski, Cecilia Lesniewski, Lorraine Venet, Sharon Malecki, Mildred Jarocki, and Margaret Jarocki.  They all carried bouquets of white gladioli tied with ribbons matching their gowns.

Edwin Wegner was best man, with Bruno Jarocki Jr., Ray Venet, and Richard Ceslik, as groomsmen.  The retinue of attendants was completed by Gail Pawlak and Allan Jarocki as flower girl and ring bearer.

Dinner and supper reception followed the ceremony.  The couple will make their home in Withee where the groom is employed as a truck driver.
