Schultze, Darrell G. #2 (23 FEB 1935 - 23 JUL 1958)

 

Darrell G. Schultze, 23, died in an automobile accident on County Trunk O, Wednesday, July 23, 1958.

 

The deceased was born in the Town of Worden, Clark County, Feb. 23, 1935, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel G. Schultze.

 

He leaves to mourn his untimely death, his parents, one brother, Robert of Withee, one sister (Frances) Mrs. Robert Anderson of Milwaukee, three nieces and three nephews.

 

The deceased was employed by the Clark County Highway Department.  He attended Withee High School.  He served four years in the U.S. Navy, being discharge May 23, 1958, during that time he spent 16 months overseas and the last year at Monterey, Calif.

 

Funeral services were held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Thorp at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 26, Rev. R.W. Olson officiating, and interment followed at the Riverside Cemetery, Withee.  Military services were conducted by the Thorp American Legion Post members.

 

Pallbearers were: David Segersthom, Tracy Hansen, Dick Quell, Buford Nicholson, Robert Butterfield and Don Meyer.

 

Out of town relatives and friends attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Dujmouic and family, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Lietzke, Mr. Rudy Fitzl, Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Helmuth Dueysen, Columbia, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Johnson, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Schultze and family, Chicago, Miss Joan Hoffman, Medford, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Schultze, Wausau, Mr. Otto Weyhmiller, Loyal, Mr. Ray Kutsche, Neillsville, and relatives and friends from Stanley, Thorp, Withee, Owen, Greenwood, Boyd and Longwood.
