Cornwell, Dorothy (Marriage - 27 April 1963)

 

Nuptial vows were exchanged April 27 in a double ring ceremony uniting in marriage Mrs. Dorothy Jane Cornwell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Radley of Withee, and Emanuel A. Dutzle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Dutzle, Sr., of Owen.

 

The Rev. Kenneth a Whitney officiated at the ceremony in the Trinity Methodist Church at Beaver Dam. Mr. Radley gave his daughter in marriage.

 

She was attired in a blue satin street-length dress, covered with white lace, full gathered skirt, matching jacket with three-quarter length sleeves, buttoned down the back and a Peter Pan collar. She wore a matching head piece of blue daisies and white accessories.  Her corsage was of pink roses and sweet peas.

 

The matron-of-honor, Mrs. Melvin Ewert of Milwaukee, sister of the bride, wore a beige satin brocade street-length dress with yellow accessories and matching hat of yellow daisies. Her corsage was of yellow roses and sweet peas.

 

The flower girl was Darla Jean Ewert of Milwaukee, niece of the bride,  she wore a pink nylon dress, full skirt and white accessories.  She carried a bouquet of pink and blue daisies and lily-of-the-valley.

 

The ring bearer was Ivan L. Cornwell, son of the bride. The bestman was Dan Dutzle, Jr., Mayville brother of the groom. The ushers were Loren Dutzle, Mayville brother of the groom and Melvin Ewert of Milwaukee, brother-in-law of the bride.

 

The mother of the bride wore a light blue dress with black accessories and a corsage of pink roses.  The mother of the groom wore a beige dress with navy dots and beige accessories and a corsage of pink roses.

 

A reception was held at 8 p.m. at the VFW Hall in Beaver Dam.

 

The couple will reside at the Beaver Dam Mobile Homes Park at Beaver Dam.  Mr. Dutzle is employed in Horicon.

 

Out-of-town guests were from Thorp, Stanley, Chippewa Falls, Withee, Owen, Curtiss, Ripon, Markesan, Sun Prairie, Milwaukee, Mayville, Horicon and Lombard, Ill.
