Mrs. Ferd Helm entertained the Carnation Art club last Thursday.  All enjoyed the meeting, it being the first since last May.

 

Aug. Reimer went to Beloit to visit relatives last week.

 

Miss Vivian Ure of Neillsville visited the Misses Ruby and Gertrude Martin Sunday.

 

Miss Elsie Neitzel spent Sunday at home, returning to her school duties at Neillsville Monday.

 

R.T. Washburn transacted business at Marshfield Tuesday.

 

The hard time dance was well attended.  Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schoengarth of Granton furnished the music.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Montage moved out to Cedarhurst where, with a crew of men, he will cut timber from his land.  John Schafer and Fred Hankey are helping him.

 

Max Opelt transacted business at Marshfield Wednesday.

 

E.F. Brooks went to Marshfield Tuesday on business.

 

Miss Helen Sternitzky is expected home this week.

 

C.W. Chuff is busy shipping hay this week.

 

Miss Nellie Broker of Lindsey came up Monday on business.

 

Lydia Krause visited her sister Mrs. Elmer Rose near Granton last week.
