William, Mary Ann (11 OCT 1958)

Miss Mary Ann William, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve William, Rt. 2, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), repeated wedding vows Saturday, Oct. 11, 1958 in St. Anne’s Church at Stanley.  The Rev. Edmund Cramer officiated at the 9 a.m. ceremony.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a chapel length gown of nylon organza over bridal accented with French lace medallions with rhinestones and pearls.  Her fingertip veil was attached to a crown of seed pearls and rhinestones.  White gladiolas and feathered carnations composed the cascade bridal bouquet.

The bride’s sister, Delores William of Madison, was maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were Mary Jane Hakes, sister of the groom, and Stephanie Soborowicz.  Their waltz length gowns were of two tone rose flocked nylon organza over taffeta and tulle Sabrina neckline fitted bodice.  They wore blusher veils.

Best man was Donald M. William of Minneapolis, Minn.  Other attendants to the groom were Marv Ziewsky, Ronald Hakes Jr., brother of the groom. Ushers were Jim Posda and Robert Diedrich.

About 200 guests attended the reception in the Stanley auditorium.

Miss Loretta Sorenson of Eau Claire was in charge of gifts.  Miss Ruth Srarzkowski of Stanley poured; Miss Sandra Paul of St. Paul took care of the fit book, and Mrs. Adam Knuth of Racine, aunt of the bride, cut the wedding cake.

The newlyweds will make their home in St. Paul.
