G. Bertschinger went to Neillsville on Thursday of last week.

 

The Misses Jennie and Hattie Lewendofsky are visiting at Fred Schlinsog’s.

 

Wm. Nast of Marblehead spent several days around here last week on business.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Charley Hayden took dinner at John Breese’s Saturday.

 

Last Saturday night friends and neighbors gathered at Fred Schlinsog’s to help him celebrate his birthday which in course of time fell on the same date it began last years.  Fred, who is a good fellow, was well prepared for his guests, so in turn everything was in good harmony.  After playing cards and games, refreshments were served.  All present had a good time.

 

The Lutheran had their first church services here Sunday, Rev. Reiff officiating.  The next services will be held March 2nd at 2 p.m., weather permitting.

 

Mrs. McMahon spent Sunday at Justin Johnson’s.

 

Mr. A. Reuth of Sun Prairie is around her again.

 

Carl Retta went to Marshfield one day last week.

 

Mr. and Mrs. H. Garbush and Mr. and Mrs. G. Bertschinger were Sunday guests at Fred Garbush’s.

 

Quite a number from here attended the Schuld auction at Pelsdorf.
