The Rev. W. C. Koehler performed a double ring nuptial ceremony Saturday afternoon in the United Church of Christ, uniting in marriage Mrs. Edna Russel of Neillsville and Carlton B. Roels of St. Paul, Minn.

 

Twelve members of the immediate families were served luncheon at the home of the bride’s daughter, Mrs. Glenn Roberts, following the ceremony.

 

The bride is a graduate of the Neillsville High School and of the physical education department of the La Crosse State College.  She is a member of the Order of Eastern Star, the American Legion auxiliary and the Past Matrons club of the Order of Eastern Star.

 

Mr. Roels, a graduate of La Crosse State College and Western Michigan University, is head football and basketball coach in Cambridge, Ida.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Roels plan to spend the summer on Little Pine Lake in northern Minnesota, and in August will leave for Cambridge.

 

Relatives attending the wedding included: Mr. and Mrs. William Beseler of Durand; William Tragsdorf of Alpine, Cal.; Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Roberts and family of Neillsville; and Mrs. Richard Herbert of Detroit, Mich.
