Kohel, Delores Jean (Marriage - 1 June 1963)

Mr. and Mrs. William Dankemyer, who were married June 1, in Zion Lutheran Church, Granton, have returned from a wedding trip into northern Wisconsin and Michigan and are residing on Rt.1 Chili.

Mrs. Dankemyer is the former Delores Jean Kohel, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. Alton Schmidtke of Granton.  Mr. and Mrs. Dankemyer Sr., of Rt. Chili are the parents of the groom.

For her wedding, solemnized by the Rev. Elfred T. Keller of Pittsville, the bride wore a gown of imported clipped Chantilly lace with tiered skirt. A peacock chapel train and a Sabrina neckline enhanced her bridal attire. A bouffant veil of imported illusion tulle cascaded from a headpiece of tiny leaves with rhinestone trim. She carried a cascade bouquet of pink roses.

Her attendants were Miss Doris Hiller of Racine as maid-of-honor, and bridesmaids were Mrs. Ted Todd of Waukesha and Mrs. Gerald Luchterhand of Spencer.

Renee Luchterhand of Spencer and Chuck Schmidtke of Odebolt, Iowa, served as flower girl and ringbearer, respectively.

The groom’s attendants were Charles Kohel of Granton as bestman; Gerald Luchterhand of Loyal and Ted Todd of Loyal, groomsmen; and Norman Vandewyst and Otto Schmidtke, Jr., ushers.

Festivities included a reception at the groom’s home and a wedding supper in the church parlors, and a dance in the evening.
