Apfelbeck, Pearl S. (Marriage - 15 June 1963)

Mr. and Mrs. Lavern Nosbisch have returned to Colby from a wedding trip to South Dakota and neighboring states.  They were married June 15 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby.

The bride’s attendants were Mrs. Virginia Cook of Gilbert, Ia.; Mrs. Genevieve Abegglen of Stetsonville; Miss Marlene Reigel of Milladore and Mrs. Alvera Gottschalk of Colby.

The groom’s attendants were Leo Apfelbeck, Jr., Alvin Abegglen, LaVern Grube of Des Plaines, Ill.; and Arnold Gottschalk.

For her wedding the former Pearl S. Apfelbeck wore a floor-length gown of Chantilly lace and nylon tulle.  The lace bodice was styled with a scalloped-edged "V" neckline and was outlined with tiny seed pearls and iridescent sequins.  Long, lace sleeves came to a point at the wrists.  A very full bouffant skirt featured a front lace panel, encircled by ruffled tiers of nylon tulle.  The tiers were edged with border lace that gleamed with sequins.  A high pearl crown secured her fingertip veil of imported silk illusion.  She carried a cascade bouquet of pink roses.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Michael Nosbisch and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Apfelbeck, all of Coby.

Mrs. Nosbisch is secretary in a Colby law office.  Nr. Nosbisch is employed in a furniture store in Colby.
